About Gina L. Prigoff, Ph.D.
Dr. Prigoff has more than 28 years of experience in psychology and 
communications. As a Licensed Psychologist, she maintains an adult-focused 
private practice conducting individual and group psychotherapy. 

Past Work Experience

Dr. Prigoff has implemented extensive research on interpersonal dynamics in the 
workplace, as well as presented seminars and workshops on clinical and vocational
issues at the local, regional, and national levels. She has worked in such settings as 
for-profit corporations, college counseling centers, community mental health centers, 
alcohol and drug rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, independent schools, and private psychotherapy clinics. 

She is a founding board member and former West Tennessee Co-Coordinator of the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT), a non-profit organization created to promote awareness and education of disordered eating. 

Advanced Training in Trauma Recovery

She has acquired advanced certification (Level II) in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting (BSP), and Flash Technique (FT) to clients as needed. 

Education

Dr. Prigoff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Counseling From George Washington University followed by a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Memphis.

Dr. Prigoff is a member of Memphis Area Psychological Association (MAPA),
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association 
(EMDRIA), National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), and a graduate 
of The Leadership Academy in Memphis, TN.
